TTSP Committees:

Communications

The Communications Committee is tasked with raising the public profile of the TTSP, and the Urban Planning profession in Trinidad and Tobago, through social and print media, and through the building of relationships with external partners. Some key initiatives of the Committee include:

  • Monthly urban planning column in Trinidad & Tobago Guardian Newspaper
  • Social media presence (Facebook)
  • Website

Membership

The Membership Committee is responsible for setting criteria for acceptance into four different categories of membership in the TTSP, and reviewing applications in accordance with these criteria. The different categories of membership include:

  • Professional
  • Graduate
  • Student
  • Affiliate

Fun and Fundraising

This committee is in charge of coordinating social events, as well as raising funds for TTSP.

Professional Development

The Professional Development Committee is tasked with formulating guidelines for maintenance of Professional Membership in the TTSP, through Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits. In addition, the Committee is responsible for ensuring compliance with the developed guidelines, as well as, advising members of opportunities for CPD credit programs.
